Andy Biggs Photo Safaris in Tanzania video
Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 08:02AM Below is an overview video of what my photographic safaris are like in Tanzania. I am on a mission to create many more videos that I can use to illustrate what my safaris are like, and this is my first one that centers around what Tanzania has to offer. I plan on creating another one for my Botswana safaris, so I can easily explain the differences between the two.
I wanted to visually explain the abundant wildlife, what the vehicles look like, the comfortable luxury tented accommodations (aka “Hemingway style camping”) and to get an overall feel about the terrain.
Enjoy!

Andy,
Well done. I like that the video is not just a lot of predator close-ups as I find Africa is soooo much more than that. You've done a good job of including the landscape and many of my favorite animals such as the zebra, elephants, baboons and giraffe. BTW, nice respect of composition in the video. Many forget this element when switching from still to video shooting. In particular the neck fighting of the giraffes was a great catch for the video.

Buddy
Does this mean Troy gets to go to Botswana?
Perhaps!
Brings back some great memories. Thank you Andy and especially Troy. Great videography
Yes, the video brought back great memories for me. Every time, I look at the video. I have a big smile on my face as big as the Cheshire cat. Troy had done a great job conveying our accommodations using video along with the testimonies of Andy's clients. I consider myself as a world traveler having been on six continents. I have seen many guides, cooks, tour leaders, etc. I firmly believe that Thomson Safaris is an exceptional organization. You will be amazed how the guides are able to spot the animals. I actually gained weight so that meant the food was great. From traditional English breakfast(after the hot air balloon ride) to typical Tanzanian dinner, it was a gastronomical experience. And the shear amount of wildlife in the Serengeti and the Ngorrongoro crater will not disappoint anybody on this planet. What a great trip!
Great memories. Great video. Well done Troy. Thanks Andy.
